where do you draw the line with baby presents for friends children.?
I’m at a age where all my friends are having baby’s and both my boyfriend and i have nieces and nephews. our family’s are great and said they didn’t want any presents yet we still sent flowers and i reasonably size gifts when the baby’s where born. yet some of my friends have a different mentality with Baby Showers, new baby party, 6 months birthdays and now their registering for their children first birthdays. some of my friends live interstate so i want to get them something yet its costing us a fortune, even with small presents. what do we do. we don’t have kids yet we still have hard times.is it wrong to give cards.
6 months! i didnt get anything for a birthday untill i was two.this is difficult question.if they know you are having problems it would be okay, if they dont then you should probably inform them with the card like”sorry we couldnt get something big,we have hard times now”they will understand
